Local Terms: Montenegro
Payment: We ask that you pay a deposit when you make your booking, and rest of payment locally to the rental station.
Payment
The following forms of payment are generally accepted in Montenegro:
Visa, MasterCard, AMEX

NOT ACCEPTED: Pre-paid credit cards, Debit Cards, Laser, , Dinners, Maestro
A valid credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented as guarantee for the rental. Our local car rental partner may reserve an amount of 1.000-1.700 € (depending on your selected car group) as guarantee, which will be released after the end of the rental period if no damage/theft has occurred.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
Driver and Licence Requirements
Drivers must have held a full licence for a minimum of 1 year.
Minimum age: 25
Maximum age: 65
Extra Charge for Drivers beyond age limits
Drivers aged 18-24 and 66-75 will be charged € 10,00 (incl. TAX) per rental day - paid locally.
All driving licences which have been issued within the European Community will be accepted.
International driving licences (IDP) will be accepted.
All National driving licences in Roman Alphabet and in a credit card format that are subject to the list of contracting parties to the convention on road traffic in Vienna, will be accepted
All other National driving licences must be accompanied by a valid International Drivers Permit in Roman Alphabet.
Drivers must also show their passport or ID on collection as additional proof of identity.
Car types
Reservations are always confirmed for a given Car Group -not for a specific car model- The car on your voucher represents the vehicle for the class (Group) you have booked. We cannot guarantee a specific make or model. Any specific cars mentioned are simply typical examples of the size, specifications and performance applying to that car group.
State/Border Restrictions
Cross border rentals are allowed with applicable fee for cross border travel : 100,00€ per cross border
Cross border fee is excluding any cross border insurance. Cross border insurance is based on the rental days and charged to the customer as per Insurance company fee.

Prior written authorization is required (ask rental agent at the time of pickup).

Collection Time
Vehicles will only be held available for up to one ( 1 ) hour after the agreed collection time, clients must contact us if they will arrive before or after the registered time on the voucher. If the Vehicle is returned later than the time specified in the voucher, the supplier will apply an etxra day charge.

Mileage Allowance
The Vehicle is provided with an unlimited Kilometer / Mileage Allowance.
Third Party Liability Insurance

24 hour roadside assistance is provided.
Taxes & Surcharges
Bookings include all local taxes.
Additional Drivers:
First additional driver is free of charge. From the second additional driver onwards an additional charge applies of 10€ per day per driver with maximum charge 150,00€. Minimum and Maximum age restrictions apply.
Winter tyres:
Winter tyres are offered for free during 15 November to 30 March and included in the rates.
Snow chains are mandatory during winter period (15.11-31.03) in mountain areas. Snow chains are provided for 50 EUR per rental.
Fuel Policy: Full to Full
Fines and Penalties
Clients are responsible for the cost of any parking fines or other penalties incurred whilst the Vehicle is on rent to them.The supplier will pass the relevant charge on to the customer plus any administrative expenses.
Damage Policy
Police report is mandatory. Client will be charged the total amount of damage unless police report is provided. No exception applies for FDW and extra insurances.
Out of Hours Charge
Out of hours charge is applied outside the Office Opening Hours:
Out of hours service between 20.01 to 07.59 o' clock is available with an extra charge of 60€ per service.
Budva Hotel deliveries:
Included free of charge in the rates within Budva city limit
Special Requests
Special Request items are available On Request and if applicable are Subject to Availability and Seasonal Variation, and will be provided by location. Special requests cannot be guaranteed. For most locations a security deposit is generally required.
Baby / Child Seats: 10,00€/day
Baby and Child Seats are available with an extra charge of 10,00/day with max charge of 150,00€
Booster Seats: 5,00€/day
Baby and Child Seats are available with an extra charge of 5,00€/day with max charge of 150,00€
GPS: 10,00€/day

Snow Chains are available with an extra charge of 50,00€ per rental.
Insurance
The customer understands that all insurance cover is provided by the company supplying the vehicle for rental and not Autounion car rental. Liability for claims in excess of the insurance cover purchased rests with the hirer of the vehicle. Autounion car rental does not provide insurance cover of any kind in relation to the hire of the vehicle and is not liable for damages incurred in the event of an accident.

SECURITY DEPOSITS (SD) In each rental a credit card is essential. Deposit for car categories: A, B €1.000,00 (incl. TAX), for BA, C €1.200,00 (incl. TAX), for E1,D1,N €1.500,00 (incl. TAX), for M €1.700,00 (incl. TAX)
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with excess amount
Is included in the booking cost and reduces the financial liability up to a maximum of: for categories A, B €700 (incl. TAX), for BA, C €900 (incl. TAX), for E1,D1,N €1.150 (incl. TAX), for M €1.500 (incl. TAX)
CDW protection does not apply beyond the rental date agreed with the pickup location. For details of this insurance, please check with the supplier on collection of the Vehicle.
Additional Insurances
FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW)
FDW limits the liability in case of accidents to €0 (Zero) by paying the daily amount of:
For car categories :
A,B €25 (incl. TAX) with max charge 900,00€
C,BA €30 (incl. TAX) with max charge 900,00€
E1,D1 €35 (incl. TAX) with max charge 900,00€
N, M €50 (incl. TAX) with max charge 900,00€

Police report is mandatory. Client will be charged the total amount of damage unless police report is provided. No exception applies for FDW and extra insurances.
WHEELS,UNDERSIDE,GLASS (WUG) :
autoUnion Car rental provides an optional insurance which covers damages to wheels, tires, glasses or damages caused to the underside of the car as far as they were not done intentionally or as a result of negligence or oversight. This is available by paying the daily amount of €10 for car groups A,B,BA,C,E1,D1 and €20 for car groups N,M.

Exceptions in CDW, FDW, WUG :
Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in the car, personal belongings in a rented car, damage due to negligence or oversight, damages done intentionally, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices, loss of car documents, loss of registration plate. The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance.
Autounion car rental will not refund any telephone, taxi or hotel costs.
Autounion car rental or the car rental company will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving, driving without care and attention or damages caused by negligence and traffic violations.
The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims.
Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.
Theft Protection (TP)
Is included in CDW. In the case of theft or fire, the client must contact the police and report the incident immediately, and submit a copy of the police report, the rental agreement and the Vehicles keys to the rental location. Responsibility is non-waiverable in case of theft or damages due to a theft attempt (excess apply). Theft protection does not apply beyond the rental date agreed with the pickup location. Renter’s Obligation:
The vehicle should be used only by the renter or other additional drivers mentioned on the rental agreement. The vehicle is prohibited to be used, for infringement of provisions of the Montenegro Road Circulation Code, for purposes opposite to the Montenegro laws, for towing other vehicles, in order to transport heavy objects or baggage.
Cancellation policy
24 hours prior to arrival no cancellation fee is required, less than 24 hours a cancellation fee equal to the deposit given at the time of reservation/confirmation is required.
